The Christmas celebrations in Thessaloniki officially begin in early December with a large concert and the lighting of the Christmas tree in Aristotelous Square. The event is organized by the Municipality of Thessaloniki and it also includes the setting up of all the festive decorations and installations in the square itself and all around the city.
